forgive me, but I am not buying these "50,40,30,20 miles from baghdad" reports unless we get some facts from centcom or the embedded reporters as to what is happening.

Colin Powell in his interview with Brit Hume earlier today stated we were within 50 miles of Baghdad -- I think you can trust that source.
