This week's talking points on the war. 1) Quagmire 2) No WMD's 3) No Chemical weapon factory 4) Sadaam's alive 5) Supply lines stretched way too thin. (Think about that. We are at the same time stalled, "bogged-down", under constant threat of "irregular troops" ambush. And we have gone TOO FAST, GONE TOO FAR, and are stretched out so thinly that we cannot supply. Which is it? By the way, the infantry and marines move fast to condition the environment for heavy iron (Abrams, etc.) so whatever you think of the front lines, much bigger power is steadly rolling toward the action. The press cannot really think Iraq is getting some kind of momentum. If anything, the most desperate are showing themselves.)

on NPR they are describing the Iraqi's in civil clothes as "partisans". That hurts. They should be described more like the "gestapo" divisions rather than the ordinary german soldiers in WWII. Some of these evil b*&ards know they are doomed and are the "dead-enders" that know they cannot face their own people in a post Saddam Iraq.
