Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...
TOPICS: Breaking News; Foreign Affairs; News/Current Events; War on Terror

Sorry it took me so long to reply, but I've been gone.
Well, I guess ... I signed up toward the end of '97. I was on longer than that but that was about the time Jim decided to have us register to post.
It was fun in the old days. Only a few posters compared to now and we had some great fights.
I'm still devoted to FR, but don't post as much, but I read a lot.

Ive been wondering, why are our choppers so problematic? Seems they are the most common cause of accidents that ive heard of in our forces
To: oceanview
My guess is this was priority one and we had teams in there months ago taking care of business. It's a shell game and we have only so many teams to sniff them out. No real big worry now since it appears our missle defense has the bugs worked out pretty well.

Anne Garrells has been reporting from Baghdad for NPR...heard her today. The biggest thing I remember her saying was that the people in Baghdad were pretty much going about their business, because they had faith that our bombs would land where we put them and we weren't targeting civilians.

It was originally two fingers closer together. Old paintings of Christ show him doing this signing peace.
I think the freelove wimmin changed the spread...
Oooh...I'm in trouble!

FOFL.........I'm picturing a woman eating marshmallow fluff with her lips sticking together. Like when you give a puppy a spoonful of peanut butter and they start licking the roof of their mouth! LOL

B-52 Nav/Bomb. eh?
Freemail me please, I've got a question about dropping copies of those WWII Grand Slam supersonic, earth-piercing bombs from a B-52 or B-2.

You need to read posts by Behind Liberal Lines. He even has a logo with this phrase: "Ithaca is the City of Evil."

The Freeper was asking for background. Not a phrasebook. Though the phrasebook is helpful to newcomers, I'm sure. I do believe that the moose/cheese thing originated during a dreaded Freepathon, in a spate of giddiness. But, I could be wrong. I do believe there is a thread somewhere, but I don't care to search it out. Getting a little touchy? Upset because belly girl has a guy?

Thanks. Hope whoever was curious is still on.
Batchelor (WABC) is into the Geneva convention violations. I think it well to keep that particular pot well stirred.

You're pretty darn close...the trick is to lick the fluff off the spoon slowly, not all in one bite. Over the last week it's become almost an art form.
To: Miss Marple
I've read them a bit...
He's mostly right.
Even my radically left wing brother-in-law and sister are appalled by the mayor and some of the wierdos.
