America needss to get used to the idea of real war. Just as the nation got over last Friday's bombing, they will be over this. Don't forget that we did not "embed" during Afghanistan. The same sort of thing happened up there.

Leventhal and the unit he's with have been going full out since the war started....I doubt if they've had more than a few hour's sleep since then.

As my mom said about my dad's crew in WWII: they left boys, they came back men. In this case, add in "combat-hardened veterans."

He's getting just as much sleep as the soldiers (not much), and they've been going all-out for the past four days. He's older than these kids, and undoubtedly not as in-shape as they are.
