Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

BeebDweeb Nicholas Witchell very gravely saying the Iraqis must be forcing the coalition to fight on their terms. The coalition move being stalled by the pockets of fierce resistance.

...I know they were already motivated but I would not want to have 30,000 UMC as mad as hell after ME.LOL!! Me either! I think it was Mike Tobin on Fox News yesterday gave detailed description of the video and just hearing it made me sick and angry.

Wall Street apparently watching CNN. I am on a mission today to discredit the clymers on that network and ABC. All assistance in this effort will be appreciated.

He had to enjoy saying that to the listening world.

Not surprising. The Frogs/Krauts have been trying to wreck our markets for quite a while.

I move we send a copy of the belly girl picture to every male soldier and marine currently in the area. Could be the next Betty Grable.
I've been watching you guys drooling over her all weekend. Funny! But, I am sure you are probably right about sending her photo to the troops.

Hope the bombing starts soon. I don't know how good her math is, but this morning E.D. on FOX said the B-52s should be over theater around noon.

I'm hoping by next week when I open up any Baghdad live cam I see a GI peering in saying "Hi Mom"

Real rough futures market last night. It might bounce back by noon, at least for the DOW that is. NASDAQ could be rought today.

If resistance was "fierce", we would have more casualties. I'm guessing resistance is spotty and moderate. One guy with an AK can bring down a helo.

At almost the same time mine went black, MSNBC was showing the live feed from that camera. (You were right, it's Kerry's cam, not david's.)
It showed medics tending to wounded on a raised medical table (unfortunately, what I referred to earlier as looking like a map table).

Your husband's friend has no doubt been listening to CNN, the Tokyo Rose Network. He should be given the link to this thread, Ralph Peters article, and get a dish so he can watch Fox News.
Yes, I am emailing him this link right now. I don't think he watches the Fox News Channel. I can't understand people watching the networks or CNN.
