You know what is so ironic? The category or two after this BS, the winning theme was focused on the victims of 9/11.

I wonder if the other nominee's really agreed whith what he was saying.

Did you see the opening where Steve Martin said that the Academy members come from all walks of life, some are Democrats and some are.......he went blank because there are no Republicans. It was funny.

I saw it. The actors gave him a standing ovation when he won. They were still clapping as he talked until the real people in the cheap seats started booing. Then they shut up and looked at each other sheepishly. These people still don't get it. Real Americans are behind Pres. Bush and the troops. I've yet to hear one actor thank the troops.

All he succeeded in doing is stopping anyone who gets an award after him from saying anything because they know they will be booed off the stage. What was interesting was the next fifteen minutes...There was an award for a short about the Twin Towers and then a bit about what you're thinking about before you win the award. Instead of being humbled by it, he acted like a jerk.
