I think Steve Martin is a liberal, but he doesn't shove it in your face. I haven't heard him diss our president in time of war.

I remember Steve Martin going to the Persian Gulf during
the Desert Shield phase and entertaining the troops on
a USO tour. No matter how liberal he may be, I have
held him in high regard since then.
