Before the show started, I heard Joan Rivers talking with Sean Astin. When he was asked to send a message to our troops overseas he said, (I paraphrase, but it's REAL close): "Before the fighting started, I prayed on bended knee for peace. Now, though, I am praying on bended knee for peace AND victory. Come home safe and bless you all."

That is Sean Astin..... He is Sam, but yes, that is what Sam thinks. He is a class act.
Of course Sean Astin played Sam. I'm terribly sorry for the mistake (I'm fighting a RAGING stomach flu and am high as a kite on a combination of Emetrol and Nyquil).
