Before the show started, I heard Joan Rivers talking with Sean Astin. When he was asked to send a message to our troops overseas he said, (I paraphrase, but it's REAL close):

"Before the fighting started, I prayed on bended knee for peace. Now, though, I am praying on bended knee for peace AND victory. Come home safe and bless you all."
