That's why i'm wondering about why his fellow nominees stood with him. Their documentaries were probably fact based and triple checked for accuracy to ten decimal places, where Moore did the exact opposite. Why stand with someone who made a joke of your life's work and is getting an award for it?

Hey, don't complain to me. I spent a long time not getting Fox and having to watch Judy Woodruff instead. I've got a strong stomach! :)

Remember, with liberals, numbers mean more than virtue.

There are a few sane people amongst the Hollyweenies. They're probably the grips and crew hands sitting up in the nose-bleed sections.

Michael Moore was reasonably well-known in some circles before this stunt, but he wasn't exactly a household name. Now he's gone before a national audience, while Americans soldiers are in harm's way, and spewed his hateful drivel. Not a great way to introduce yourself to the country. He's toast (ahem...professionally that is ).

The craft people in Ho-wood are generally conservative, like my s-i-l. They do not take kindly to demonstations like that idiot just made. I'm sure they would like to 'help' him into a trunk.

The great limo liberal Moore made a non union film.

I nominate Michael Moore for the Bellesiles Award for Journalistic Integrity.

Moore's film was fiction. It was a fantasy filled with lies. So he's got some nerve calling the President and this war "fiction".

Martin's joke meant that Michael Moore would be killed. He would be dumped in the trunk by teamsters because it is a union job in Hollywood. :)

(Protestors file Chapter 13 -- they are morally bankrupt)
To: vikingchick
Teamsters have long been identified as dealing with their enemies by 'talking a ride in the trunk' then, being disposed of in a not so nice way.

Has Steve Martin been making liberal jokes through the show? I really like that guy. "I am one wild and crazy guy!"
