Didn't say we were losing - but I'm not alone in saying this is going much tougher than expected in the last 24 hours or so. We were led to believe only the top brass of Iraq were satisfied with the regime, and all the innocent civilians were just waiting for salvation. Well, they're fighting back and show no signs of looking for liberation. I know we will win, all I'm saying is stop caring so much about sparing so many of their lives at the expense of ours.

How many refugees headed to Jordan compared with 1991 events? How many people are in the top brass? How can the surviving top brass motivate the surviving soldiers? (i.e., think treat of execution)

You are expressing impatient thoughts. We should apply only as much force as necessary. Many of the Iraq people are innocent victims.

I emphatically DISAGREE with your assertion that "this is going much tougher than expected in the last 24 hours or so." Our military planners have a range of expected resistance, and the resistance so far is well within that range.

Oh, BS. Your entire post is uninformed BS. The war planners planned for resistence, resistence has been encountered, and it has been sporadic.

For hell's sakes, four days into this thing and we've suffered a .0001 fatality rate. Tell me: if you're soldier, which side of this fight would YOU rather be on?

We're rolling on without a significant hiccup.
