Oh, I think that their egos are big enough to fear that terrorists have targeted them directly. Remember after 9/11 they were fearful to the point of nervous breakdowns. LOL

The curious thing is that it's the anti-war, anti-U.S. unwashed who have several protests and events planned for the area near the Kodak Theater, where the Academy Awards show will be held. Surely the peace-loving protesters won't disrupt the peace-loving actors' self-congratulatory lovefest! (By the way, Bill Clinton is scheduled to appear at one of the post-Oscars parties in H'wood. Where's a scud missile when you want one?)
