If one was Tariq, then the tapes showed since the bombing are fake since he was in both of them. To me, that means Saddam is gone too.

Those tapes showing the table and Saddam, Tariq and the rest definitely seem to be file tape. And of course the implication of hauling out and airing a file tape is obvious.

Let us pray it is so. Though I hear increasing talk of Saddam being wounded not killed. Even in that scenario he would have been hit. The effect on him, especially if he knows some of those right there with him at the time were killed, why that must have done a number on him. Plus, how serious was the wounding--life threatening? Has he died, just not immediately? So many questions. And we will get the answers------soon.

I hope he is dead. If he is alive and can still call the shots, he has nothing to lose and will basically use everything in his arsenal.
