Jim M. of NBC just reported that Al Jazeera has shown the bodies of executed American soldiers.

It isn't the United States they intend to reach with this - it's the rest of the murderous arab states. Same with the story of an Israeli missile in Baghdad - they want to draw in some help.

That is exactly the problem! And not only with DU and the anti-American protestors. It is the problem with Iraq, Iran, al Qaeda, North Korea, France, Russia, etc., etc. [add your own].

I'm not one to justify undo violence. Hoaver if one, just one, peace protester shows their face and gets in mine, I'm serious, there will be some jarhead bareknuckle diplomacy implemented. Those pictures infuriated me beyond belief. I'm just now calming down. I'm now printing those pictures with the caption "THIS IS WHAT THE ANTIWAR PROTESTERS SUPPORT-THE EXECUTION OF AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN-DO YOU SUPPORT THE MURDER OF YOUR NEIGHBORS?" I'm putting one screen snapshot of the dead Army soldier, and one screen snapshot of the jumpers from 9-11. And I will be plastering them everywhere up by my second home in west central Florida.

I'm sure your outrage is real and your enthusiasm genuine. I prefer to do things that help others understand what's really going on, and if I 'go nuclear,' that won't help.

Just as you will never be convinced by the arguments at DU, they will not be impressed by your going nuclear.

I understand what you are saying, but I'm concerned with the families of these people, their children, their wives. They didn't show the murder tape of Daniel Pearl on TV and yet that made plenty of people mad. Anybody human enough to get enraged by these acts doesn't NEED to see it, but that's my opinion.

I'm suggesting it to keep this in perspective. I will never try to "convince" anyone on DU. They hate our country, our way of life, and our military with a passion. It's that middle ground, that 50% of "American Idol/CSI" vegetation that just goes "hmm, we're at war, wow" instead of getting passionate that needs the wake up call. You do things your way, I'll do things my way.
