Bgrnd on LIEberman.
At age (hrumph) it is utterly inconceivable to me and my dear wife of 43 years that anyone could ever consider killing their baby. Our Catholicism has been steady and never anti-life. We lost a baby girl through complications 36 years ago and the hurt is as strong and deep today as it was when it happened. How can mothers (parents) kill their babies? We have been blessed in supplying pro-life Rosaries to every diocese in the U.S. for the past two years. Some of them do not even acknowledge our gift but comments received from others FAR outweigh the ambiguity. Late last year we sent a parcel to a priest in North Carolina who was leading a pro-life bus to Washington to protest on the steps of the SCOTUS on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. The Rosaries were handed out to demonstrators. I don't say this to toot our own horn about what we do but to illustrate that even little things have an impact if people will get off their behinds and get involved. I read your post on the "Death of a Baby, Birth of Despair" thread and so very much wanted its message on this thread.
Besides, I hoped you'd read the story about a staunch pro-abortion advocate calling on Catholic leaders with a pro-life pledge.
