Charles Krauthammer said earlier that part of the resistance is a throwback to the first Gulf war when we failed to take out the regime or support the resistance.
Some of these people don't trust us to do so and still have a huge fear of Saddam (well justified).
I think if and when they realize we WILL follow through to the end, things will change.

You know, I just realized something. With all the headlines about American & UK casualties, we're not hearing any enemy body counts from Centcom OR the embeds. Good call.
