Dollars to doughnuts that he had planned this attack for some time, that's why he probably was acting so weird beforehand.

It's almost as if they don't want anyone to find it or look at it. From the AP story:
The motive for the attack most likely was resentment, said Max Blumenfeld a spokesman for the Army's V Corps. He would not elaborate, and news reporters traveling with the unit said they were asked not to convey many details of the incident.
Ah, yes -- let us feel the pain of a murderer for his "resentment."

This is one of those "gray areas" (not really, but you know how bad things have got) when a war isn't declared officially. Technically, falling asleep on guard duty is punishable by death in a combat area. The chief way to tell these days if one is in a combat area is if you don't pay any taxes on the LES.
No question he should be shot at dawn, lets hope we have some leadership on this one.

Fox is showing footage now including the traitor. Four are undergoing surgery. One's dead. Roll call was carried out after attack. This guy was missing with 4 grenades. He was hiding in a bunker and was shot in a leg. Gunfire exchanged during the attack. No idea about a motive. Some reports that this guy is a muslim. "No independent confirmation of that. Potential significance of that - Fox is being very careful about that." Just before this attack, missile warning sirens were heard - coincidentally. Now Brian Wilson is going to dance delicately. Worth noting that this soldier apparently is a muslim. Any indication that his religious beliefs had anything to do with this? reporter says "No, Brian." Army has not confirmed that he's a muslim. They believed he "might" be a muslim.
Now does this boost morale or what? What are the implications? Anybody?
Prayers for the unknown soldier who was taken from us. The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall not want..."

You are so correct. Islam is a terrorist evil organization that believes its members have to kill all non-muslims in order to get into their heaven. They are not politically motivated but think they have to earn, by murder, their way into paradise.
Islam has no compatible views with America which is mainly Christian, Jewish, or agnostic. This means muslims must kill non islamic Americans to get their reward.
Hopefully before its too late, Americans will realize that Islam is evil and must be defeated. If not, they will eventually kill us all.

Again...CNN had a reporter from the NY Time who was embedded with the 101st who saw the whole thing and broke the news. Terrible...effin bastard

Round up all "muslims" NOW!!!!!
I've been saying that since 9/11. Been vilified for it on this very forum, too.
Me too, they are showing their colors, and except for a very, very few they are colors of disloyalty. Multiculturalism will be the death of our civilaztion. I'd give a final ultimatum to these folks, and then...done...out!

The link is to the WaPo's web site. I'm doing a double-take on this myself, because no one else is reporting this.
I just verified the link, and the story is still there. They will be hugely embarrassed if they are wrong.

Yeah, maybe. This makes me so angry. These guys have enough to concentrate on without having to watch over their shoulders.

Johnny Cochran is probably chomping at the bit to defend this guy.

Perhaps his superiors did not trust him, and would not deploy him in areas where he could see battle. Thus the resentment.
They'd better shoot him, if found guilty.

A U.S. soldier assigned to the brigade was in custody, the officials said. The soldier who was killed was not idenfitied. This is so terrible...words fail me. May God Bless the soul of our lost soldier and comfort his family.
May the United States military bring swift justice to the traitor.

Early on it was reported by the British reporters that he had an arabic name. What do you think that means.
