Dan Rather, er Blather, said (according to another post) that none of the injuries were life-threatening. FNC's home page says that 6 of the victims were injured "seriously."

Given that grenades are involved, I wouldn't be surprised if there is significant loss of limb. Rather's use of "not life-threatening is disingenuous at best, deceitful at worst.

According to the Washington Post, one of the soldiers is already dead. I guess that makes it a murder charge.

This is so sad. "Loss of limb" would mean the loss of life as they know it, even it it's not their physical life. I pray that the soldiers wounded will be completely healed. I thought I had read that 11 of those wounded had to be air lifted out? That would imply serious wounds.

Do they do psychological testing on military recruits?
