The aricle from CBS appears to be sanitized now. No mention that he was a Muslim as when you originally posted the article. If someone has already pointed this out my apologies. Here's how it reads now

"Three suspects were being held for questioning: two Kuwaitis who served as translators and an American soldier described as an engineering sergeant."

CNN coverage of the incident does not mention that he is a Muslim. They have had comparisons to Nam era "fragging", spun out there without the sligthest hint of the single most important fact in the case. MSNBC likewise does not mention it. They are tip-toeing around the subject, hinting other things are suspected or may be going on, but refusing to say anything - as though for reasons of security. Only Fox, as far as I have seen, has mentioned the unmentionable, that he is Muslim. No one has mentioned his race. And of course, almost all of them are saying it *isn't* a terrorist incident if a soldier did it - which does not remotely follow, of course.
