Why would Greeks get mad if someone said they weren't white?
Ahem. Because we are. No less so than Italians. Greek and Italian bloodlines have intermixed for millenia.

I'm not saying that Greeks aren't white. I'm wondering what the motivation is for getting mad. Is it because they don't want to be compared with black people? This was a BIG problem with Greeks, Italians,Portuguese at the beginning of the 20th century, in that we were considered low class and even a bit "dark" for immigration.
