You know, I always wondered why Hispanics are called such. I always thought of them as whites who had relatives whose native language was Spanish (or Portuguese). Just like my relatives are Greeks who speak Greek. If the libs tried to tell the Greeks they weren't white anymore, they'd find their heads bitten off in short order. For the life of me I don't understand why "Hispanics" haven't reacted violently to this effort to marginalize them.

I never heard of anyone saying that hispanics were a 'race'. There are hispanics of all shades and backgrounds. Why would Greeks get mad if someone said they weren't white? I don't get offended when black American customers sometimes call me "sister" and such. But then there are Cubans who hate being called chicanos,and all that stuff.
