With bombs falling over Baghdad and U.S. troops risking their lives, the California Assembly was fiercely split Thursday over whether to support President Bush and American soldiers.

An opinion that will not affect the outcome of our national policy nor California's economic crisis.

One of the greatest unanswered questions is why, in the last election, the formerly RED democrats got turned to blue.
Up to then, the dems were (rightly so) red, and the pubbies blue.
Subtle, but definitely disinformation.

To the extent that Republicans can force the democrats to go on record against the US military action, they gain a valuable issue for the next election cycle.
