I understand about being glued to the news and tired and wishing it was over and then being ashamed. The roller coaster ride of war.
I actually went out with one of the youngers for a bit this evening. It seems so strange to be out walking around watching people in their normal routines. Then I realized that this is the very freedom that our troops are fighting for. I stopped in my tracks and said a silent word of thanks.

It is almost surreal. Some people don't even seem to know that we are at war.
But then I have to remember that when you've been one of or near a WarFighter, you forget that EVERYONE isn't as "tuned in" as we are.
You are, as usual, correct. That's what it's all about.
