If this is the worst they can do, America is more blessed than I had believed.

Too many of our men have already been killed. It was just reported on TV that the translators of our troops turned out to be the suicide bombers. Time to make a change in the tactics. I don't want to see any more of our best and bravest killed.

he is pulling us into baghdad for something It definitely is eerily easy to roll on through Iraq as the troops are. But I'm certain that all the troops out there are aware of the possibility that something will hit them at any time. Of course, complacency may inadvertently set in after a few days of very little opposition.
But if SH and his rotten sons are incapacitated, then it's less likely that there will be much in the way of coordinated attacks on the coalition forces. Let's hope we can knock some sense into the Iraqi generals' heads with the bombing tonight.

Oh Geez. Yeah, he's pulling us into Baghdad for something. Otherwise, he'd be giving us a helluva fight. (/sarcasm) Don't you remember the first Gulf War? My goodness.

he is pulling us into baghdad for something Lots of experts predicted that Saddam would let most of the country fall and defend the cities (as we're seeing in Basra), hoping for bloody street battles which could sap our will.
I really don't think we're stupid enough to fall for it.
