They said this a few hours ago, so I hope the distance is closing.

They just keep pushing without sleep or taking a bathroom break. If they really go for broke, they could be at the outskirts of Baghdad by Sunday night. Rah, rah, rah go 7th Cav!!!

Iraq is a big country, the size of California.

Its like a drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco.

Where is the 7th cav coming from? Are they coming from the west north of the point where the 3rd div will be or up the middle from the south?

Can they roll in the 20-30 mph sandstorms that are predicted tomorrow?

Patton would be proud. By pass up all the little stuff and go for the throat. They can be cleaned out later.

I hate to say it, but Walter Rodgers has been doing a good job of reporting with the 7th Cavalry
To: ewing
They're well out of the desert so the sandstorms shouldn't be too much for a problem for the forward elements. Don't know about the ones still coming from Kuwait though. It could slow the rear down for awhile.

Gotta go, to harass some pro-Saddam protesters by the White House.
To: goldstategop
This is total disdain for the Iraqis ability to intradict our supply lines. Go 7th Calvary!

Bathroom breaks? There is a reason MOS 19K is closed to females.

LOVE those pics for the Calvary/Cavalry impaired!
Just tell folks the L for Lord comes first in Calvary, or, that the Cavalry is composed of Cavaliers.
