A clear majority of the Congressional Black Caucus voted Nay or Present, but I don't see a single member of the Hispanic caucus on that list -- I take it they all voted Aye. Split developing?

I do fear that the black division in this country will have to be dealt with soon. Thankfully the majority of blacks do not feel this way. Too bad their leaders do.

Sorry for late reply. Here in Northeastern Florida (Duval & St.Johns County) during the last congressional election, conservatives and the RNC supported a retired Naval Officer, she is black and conservative, to challenge the nitwit incumbent. The nitwit won.
Considering todays' developements with the fragging in Kuwait(sp?)...American-black-Muslims (and supporters, i.e., The CBC) better find some new "blood"....

I feel the same way in some respects. I have said the the leftists like to cross the fence and retreat to pretend to support what they must as long as they must. I believe Bush's implementation of media in Iraq is truly hurting their cause. Pelosi cannot support Bush because of politics? When was the last time that occurred in a war? The compulsion for power cannot be satisfied.Consider something else. Name a piece of legislation that Bush caved on which the leftists arent bitching about today? He gave them the highest ed bill in the history of America and a year later it's not enough? He gave them the airport package (maybe some day I'll understand why) which the "workers".... are now calling shallow and demanding more benefits. These are the same people who after 9/11 voted without dissent for Resolution 1441. I'm curious, were they not supporting Bush when they approved the ed legislation or 1441....?
