They've repeated the "U.S. armed Iraq" lie so many times that they actually believe it themselves. I've even heard one leftist insist that we "specially manufactured" T-62 tanks just to sell to the Iraqis once it was pointed out to him that the Iraqis didn't use any American weapon systems.
