To whom was PJ referring? Or is that the purpose of your question?

With all the Media that are with are brave fighting folks.
PJ is asking us too belive our lie ing eyes. He would even beleive the lies spewning out of Iraq before our own USA.

Perhaps you're talking about something he said Thursday morning (Pacific Time) which I heard in a radio simulcast...he said that often reports that a war is starting out well turn out later to have been overly optimistic, or words to that effect, and then said something like "I'm not saying anyone's lying but..." His tone reeked cynicism and disdain for the U.S. military.

I don't know if this is it, but after the Rumsfeld briefing I turned to Jennings to see what he would say. Rumsfeld had talking about bombing plan had been made with great planning, care, humanity, ...etc. This was after he had said some network had been comparing the big bombing to WWII and he said that was crazy, nothng like WWII. Peter then said something like, no offense to the secretary of defense, but he kept talking about humanity in the bombing and he doesn't know and neither do we, we'll all see later about that. Those are not his words, but general idea.
He is insufferable. By the way, following the Rumsfeld press briefing, Ari held one at the WH. And, at the height of the war, ABC, CBS, NBC did not cover it. They sat and mused and chatted with a background of quiet Baghdad behind them. They were more important than Q&A about the war from the WH. Amazing.

Tonight Jennings interviewed by phone, an Iraqi who is one of Saddam's henchmen as a member of the Iraqi Parliment. Jennings asked him how things were in Baghdad after the bombing of the night before. The Iraqi proceeded to use his air time to spew lies about civilian deaths (he could not sleep because an old woman living next door dropped dead from the shock of the bombing) and he said we had no good reason to be attacking them. Jennings let him go on forever, spewing pro-Saddam propaganda. He did not challenge him once. He kept thanking the Iraqi liar over and over again for taking the time to be interviewed. After the Iraqi hung up, Jennings weaseled out by saying that he presented the propagandist as an example of an Iraqi who will not welcome us into Baghdad. When is Jennings going to be deported? Or better yet, strapped to a bomb and dropped on Baghdad.
