The old nancy is still bitching about it. Drama queen.

They are now questioning Walter Rodgers' ethics.

Expression on Brown's face was priceless. Backtracked the the advisor backed the reporter in the field. lol

There may be no one more irritating in television news than Aaron Brown. And boy is that saying something.
To: JennysCool
He's definitely the Alan Alda of the media.

Agreed. It's hard to find a TV neews anchor who is more full of self-love than the ever monotone, ever boring, ever dramatic Aaron Brown.

You know, I was skeptical at first of this idea of embedding the journalists into the forward military units, but I think now that it was a stroke of genius. It provides all the immediate photos that they want, but gets the journalists in the field emotiotionally involved in the outcome, and FORCES them to see the war from our side, FOR ONCE!!

I used to watch him on ABCNews overnight and I liked him (pre-cnn).
However, I believe the brown hair dye has caused some side-effects. He seems to now be suffering from 'big head syndrome' and I don't think the effects can be reversed.
This is yet another reason why I only watch FOX.

Aaron Brown talks so much, on the 1 year Anniversary of 9-11, another CNN Correspondant asked him, (on air!) "Of course, you DO realize that a moment of silence actually involves a moment of SILENCE?"
I couldn't beleive it until my friend called and asked me if I'd heard it.

I saw it. Nothing can beat the moment, a Friday night, when Chief Moose annouced the name "John Mohammed." You should of seen his face, all the liberal angst! He finally said, "We won't touch that" - giving the name even more significance.

I'll take O'Reilly over Aaron Brown any freaking day of the week. 'Boring' is not a word that can be used to describe O'Reilly.
Besides, Brown is a news anchor. O'Reilly has an opinion show. It's not the same thing.
To: LibertyThug
Also he can't stop talking about the media and embedding. It's like a Doonesbury cartoon - media as the protagonist, soldiers as background.

Brown is a pompus prick with yellow teeth. He'll be gone before to long with Wolfy, Woodmuff, and the War Whore. Or CNN will just go bankrupt and their all toast.

Walter Rodgers ROCKS. His reporting is not touchy feely like the other reporters. He is reporting like no one else. I LOVE this guy. I only turn back to the TV now when I hear his voice. His report about the 7th Calvary last night made me so proud of our military I started crying. AND like I said it was "Just the facts" not the sappy stuff most of the reporters are sending in.

I agree, and Bush and I have our differences. :0)

I used to intern for a local Seattle TV news station. The old hands there were still grumbling bitterly about what a prick Aaron Brown was when he worked there.
