KUWAIT CITY - The camp of the 101st Airborne Division in Kuwait was attacked early Sunday with grenades, wounding 10, including six seriously, U.S. military officials said


"From our reports it appears that a terrorist penetrated Camp Pennsylvania, one or more terrorists threw two hand grenades into a tent said George Heath, spokesman at Fort Campbell, home base of the 101st.


He said 10 people were wounded, six seriously.

Fox - William LaJunes from Kuwait reports that two different tents were attacked. One grenade per tent. 2000 people at the camp. 3 units of 700 each. Night sentries around base perimeter and each unit. Several contractors that bring water food and who clean. Gate inspections, but have ready access.

I was parked in front of my big screen most of the day, not much to see in Bagdad so alot of the coverage was all of the rallys. Mostly NY and SanFran anti's. They showed the support rally in Chi-town a few times, now I wish I could have made it down there. Looked like an awesome gathering, didn't look like any clashes with anti's. Wonder if there will be any FReeports on the rally?

Not in a situation where we were being invaded. Besides, what is the meaningful distinction between a supposed translator and a surprise bunker-buster - that the translator looked you in the eye before killing you?
