Apparently in Arabic the pronunciation is closer to "gutter." However, since we are not CNN, I do not understand why it isn't pronounced "KuhTAHR" the way we used to. After all, we don't say "Espana" or "Deutchland."

Our kids are okay with the war. They don't like killing, but they believe Saddam is stifling his subjects beyond reason, and the Iraqis will be happy to have more freedom.
The kids don't like undisiplined thought, and blind trust either. That is, they aren't liberals now. No public schooling. Smart kids, will be fine productive and positive forces in the world.

Maybe not sympathy, but until the lying, sadist is dead, I will put nothing past him. He and his are very practiced in spinning an image of honorable action and intent. The trouble with such a strategy is that the coalition hasn't blown Iraq up, but rather gone in with precision. If the tyrant is alive, he has misjudged nature of the attack he would face.

"Had to have been shipped in from over yonder at that unmentionable place." Their spokesman is from the DU?

Another asked the military analyst "We've captured H1 and H2...now, what does that refer to?"
These are airfields in western Iraq

I clicked on the sound bite and it sounds more gutteral with much more emphasis on the first syllable making an "aw" vowel sound. But also the second syllable isn't an "uhr" sound, but more open "ahr." Nothing near the annoying "Kutter."

"with regards to their cowardly attack on baghdad, they have told you how many rockets they have hit us with. We have only counted 19 rockets" Does this moron not have a TV? Maybe he didn't realize that we are actually watching much of what is going on which makes it very obvious that he is liar.

That tape released today of Saddam in a meeting is a FAKE!
Follow me here....the camera shows Saddam laughing at the head of the table.... and on his left nearest him is Quesy....now watch the video and you see VP Ramadan sitting in the chair Quesy sat in.. but in another segment Ramadan is only other side of the table near Azziz....this all takes place in "today's meeting".
