Did you notice that the article says His wife is in California, but also seems to say she's in Baltimore as well.
This whole thing reeks of explotation and politics by Turner the "reporter" who did the interview. His name is repeated repeatly.

He (the reporter) could accidentally walk into a fist in the not too distant future.
