"...although in some cases where there are command and control nodes which are used for communications for controlling WMD (weapons of mass destruction), we will in some cases have taken direct action against those," This is the first mention I've read of WMD. It would be nice to demonstrate the evidence for the world to see.

Good Job! Our Aussie and British brothers are outstanding!!
Canada (french PM) is a disgraceful nation under Chretien!!
Hopefully, the decent and honorable among the canucks whack him in the next election.

It really sounds like the spokesman is stumbling around and meant to say "we will in some cases take action against those."
The only other mention of WMD I've seen was Martha Radatz on ABC 10 minutes ago, saying that Delta Force was now searching Western Iraq for WMD, and according to her Pentagon source, hadn't found any yet.

I know we're going to have to destroy this kind of thing sometimes, but I sure hope we are able to preserve some of it as evidence.
Not that the 15% of Americans who still oppose the war can be convinced by anything!

I'm sure there are a number of teams but this is smart to have the Australians taking this role - they deserve the opportunity given their stalwart support + nobody can claim any bias on their part.

The Australians are spectacular at this sort of work. Advance, Australia Fair!

Seeing is believing. There are none so blind as those who will not see.
It was true when Jesus walked the earth and it is just as true today.
Those who don't want to see will not see. It's amazing, but they won't.
