Maybe you'd like to run for POTUS and propose building a 50 foot barbed-wire steel wall around America. You know what the problem is with that? It wouldn't just keep people out but it would lock people in. Think about that for a minute.

Actually I was thinking full-time high voltage electric with a chemical stew moat on either side.

Keeping people in? From going to Mexico or Canada? I didn't realize we had such an emmigration problem going on en masse (certainly would be nice if they would head home for good.)

Maybe it is hard for me to imagine having never been locked in before but I really don't see it being an issue. Certainly it COULD happen; we could end up like Cuba or the late East Germany. However if we were so far down the path that they were now successfully locking us in- well seems to me we would already be totally disarmed, fully screwed, all lined up for the slaughter.
