We have a war with people from enemy nations sneaking over the Mexican border to do us harm and this a@#$hole with a badge has the gull that to tell WND "I filed charges (against the Ranch rescue volunteers) on behalf of the state of Texas"???

If the citizenry of Texas does not do what ever it takes restrain this out-of-control renegade and his minions, we deserve what ever enemy nations have in store for us!

According to Ranch Rescue, this entire incident was filmed by a team doing a documentary. I say we go to the tape. If there was no rough stuff, I think there's some Texas Rangers that should be in a whole lot of trouble.

Sorry those white trash border vigilantes are stuck, but when you act like trash, you get treated like trash.

Last I noticed, those cruise missiles weren't being launched against locations in El Salvador or Guatemala, nor were Mestiszos trying to blow up North American infrastructure.

The borders are an illusion and a joke upon the entire country that our elite maintain so as to look like they are in control. For all practical purposes Mexican-Americans and their foreign counterparts are assuming control of our southern border all with the help of our increasingly feckless elite who can bomb a turd world nation with no DC based lobbying group but can't control its border.

Does the President have a problem with protecting the borders?

Yep as O'Reilly says its all about letting drugs into this country and Bill is not happy about this!

It's times like this that makes me ashamed to be a FReeper.

Okay, they're illegal aliens. Big deal. That doesnt give anyone the right to pistol-whip them. That's battery.

Read this article and tell me these people are not doing the right thing.

IRAQIS HUNTED IN MEXICO

CIA sources have revealed that several Iraqis are being hunted in Mexico.

The six suspects are thought to have chemical and biological weapons with them.

According to reports, the men have tried to persuade smugglers, who profit from helping people cross the Mexican border into the US, to get them into America.

Officials say they were given a tip off and are treating the reports seriously.

I hate the uncontroled borders and the free-for-all going on as much as anyone else, having lived in Los Angeles for 10 years. However, "pistol-whipping" is over the top.

Let's say they didn't do it. In that case, they should be very careful to document (video, logs, etc.) their every move from now on, and make sure that they stay within the law and have legal advice. And, the pols involved are on a witch hunt.

However, if they did do it, then they should be punished, and RR should make sure they screen their volunteers better. Things like this only serve to inflame the situation, and help people like, for instance, Grijalva.

Like it says at http://news.mysanantonio.com/story.cfm?xla=saen&xlb=180&xlc=966571 ""We've never seen anything like this before. I was raised on a ranch, and we deal with illegal aliens, but the way they are treating these people is inhumane. It won't be tolerated," the sheriff said."

Casey Nethercutt of California and Hank Conner of Louisiana were arrested by Texas Ranger Sgt. Doyle Holdridge and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a weapon and two counts of unlawful restraint for allegedly pistol-whipping and detaining a Salvadoran man and his wife early Wednesday morning.

Nethercutt and Conner were part of a four-man detachment from Ranch Rescue – a property-rights activist group – which was led by Texas chapter head and national spokesman Jack Foote. The four-man contingent, at the request of rancher Joe Sutton, was here to prevent criminal trespassers from crossing Sutton's property.

I hate to say it but the Ranger MAY have a small point.

If the individuals that captured an illegal alien were working for ANY type of compensation (even bottle water donated by the owner), they were operating as security guards. CCW holders are expressly BARRED for security work as that industry jealously guards its position via bought and paid for legilature members.

It is right ? Hell no; this Ranger is being an a$$. Is it legal; unfortunately yes.

I knew this was coming. Next the civil suits will hit the members of this group. It has been decreed that Mexican serf labor and votes are too important.
