Don't get me wrong, I love the people here and I'm a huge Red Raider fan.

I just don't think this is a prime terrorist target and that doesn't denote a lack of respect.

:)

Woo Hoo! Omaha made it! Of course, I've been told that it has always been on the same level as Cheyenne Mountain and Washington, D.C. since it's the home of the Strategic Air Command. And Lincoln is a top target because it has one whopping long runway at its municipal airport -- one of the longest in the country.

Sometimes maybe it's better not to be noticed ...

Nothing to terrorize except a large population of prairie dogs.

I dunno, that's the nicest mall for two hundred miles.

I hear what you are saying--I was just being playful because I love Tech and many family members graduated from there. I also have alot of in laws there and just love the good West Texas people. Unfortunately, my Texas city is definitely more of a target, lots of oil refineries. Glad to hear you love those Red Raiders too! :)

This is directly lifted from a site trying to hock the book where this worthless manure is published, you shyster!

I received an email from Ambassador Alan Keyes at 2:35am on 3/21 recommending the following link: http://www.survivingterrorism.com/a/da.htm.

I checked the site out, found it mildly interesting, but elected not to purchase the materials for sale there. As I closed the window, a pop-up offered me the option of receiving the "120 Cities Most at Risk of Terrorist Attack" list for free. What the heck. I clicked "Yes" and received the list by email. After reading it, I thought it might be of general interest to some of my fellow Freepers, so I posted it.

A measured review of my post serves to illustrate the fact that I never attempted to sell anything to anyone. Anyone who has ever posted an article on Free Republic realizes that it is standard operating procedure to list the source link of their post in the supplied Post Form.

Your slanderous remark was unwarranted. Good day, sir.

I notice you decline to assert that it is particularly interesting. :)

However, I extend my deepest apologies for my hasty assumption that you were somehow affiliated with them. I am understandably sorry for calling you a shyster, when it's KEYES that's huckstering.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the assembled info in this book would be easily assembled from information already found on the web. The site reeks of commercializing hysteria, which is as infuriating to me from a conservative as it is from the liberal media. As a result, I transferred and dumped that vitriol upon you, sir, for which I again apologize.

Apology accepted. In hindsight, I should have clarified the circumstances in my initial comments and stated that Keyes was affiliated with them.

I'd think that Madison, WI would more likely be the source of a terrorist attack rather than a victim of one.

Well, not really but I'll put it this way. I'm halfway between Knoxville and Chattanooga just off I-75. I'm still South of Knoxville and North of Chattanooga.
