We sat silent when our men came back from Nam. We will NOT sit silent when they come back for Iraq. ALL it takes for evil to win, is for GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING!
To be honest, Gail, I kept in all those emotions until the men and women of Desert Storm had the ticker tape parade in New York City, many years later, and insisted upon it being dedicated to the Nam Vets, too.....the floodgates opened then, after more than twenty years.
That's one reason I love Free Republic so much, honoring ALL the military and veterans...
