I have trouble parsing your last sentence.
Enforcement of existing laws -- agree wholeheartedly.
Taking into consideration the ability of police to ensure order as they issue demonstration permits -- sure.
Laws against the First Amendment -- no.
This country needs all aspects of popular opinion heard.

Well see, here is the problem. The protesters do not represent the majority opinion in this country by any stretch of the imagination. We have heard them OVER AND OVER AND OVER, yet, they continue to say nothing of real importance. They are not speaking for the majority of our country, although the media would like us to believe that they are. They are also obstructing this country from ridding itself of terrorism. YOu truely sound as if you support and admire them. I have no doubt that you do. You may even be one of them for all I know. So I will take my leave now. Thank you for the stimulating posts. GOD BLESS AMERICA! GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS! GOD BLESS OUR GREAT PRESIDENT (even if liberals don't agree).
