FOX NEWS has reported that Saddam is either dead or severely wounded as he was believed to be in the compound that was recently struch by B-117 bombers

As much as I would like it to be true, I just can't believe that he's dead, or even wounded. This entire thing has been rolling along much too smoothly.That's why to me, he probably is, if not dead/wounded, then cut off from his command. There is no organized resistance. Either they are going to make one helluva stand at Baghdad (in which case I would think the USAF/RAF would be pounding the Iraqi units as they get into position) or Hussein is incapicated.
I'm not counting Basra as we know nothing about it right now, and I'm not counting the Iraqis stupid enough to roll out in a few trucks and tanks into the path of the allies just so they can get killed.

If he hasn't yet appeared on LIVE TV in Baghdad today, I believe he's already encountered those 72 Virginians in the afterlife. Exactly. One thing about Saddam Hussein's regime is that he ensured he was on Iraqi TV everyday (reminiscent of a certain ex-president we used to have) and made certain that the newspapers featured a fresh photo of him on the front page every day.
It is very telling that Saddam was nowhere to be seen today except for that so-called address of yesterday morning that was so obviously pre-recorded.
I had my doubts earlier but I am becoming increasingly convinced that Saddam is either dead or severely injured.

It looks like the looney left already did in LA and San Fagcisco. What a circus. There's a lot more cleaning up to do, and until all of the Iraqi units surrender, I'm not going to get cocky. But it is looking good if we killed his older son at least as is rumored.
