I know that. It's just handy to make the association. In reality their masters are using drugs, peace, love, and hate to control them and the program is exactly the same as it was 20 years ago. The anti-nuke crowd then is the same people. America was to disarm, but there was no sign that they cared what weapons the USSR had. Exactly the same today, with the fresh love object, Saddam, added.

Rampant speculation on Thursday painted a portrait of a hemorrhaging Oscar show, but honchos at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences laughed off most of the rumors. Despite talk of a wave of defections, most of the participants — presenters as well as nominees — have called to confirm their attendance, academy executives said...
