DEBKA? Is this reliable?

Perhaps. DEBKA is about as reliable as a stopped clock.

A Daisy Cutter or MOAB could probably blow out the fires. Expensive but fast. But would it be better to let the oil burn off or seep into the sand?

Let the eco-weenies extinguish the blaze while under fire... we'll drill ANWR (cleanly, responsibly, and accountably) to make up any lost supply.

Really. Must we post whatever pops into DEBKA's imagination in all CAPS?

I beg to differ. A stopped clock is considerably more reliable than Debka.

Could we skip these DEBKA posts? Or at least mark them as coming from DEBKA in the headline?

Exactly! You need engineers and a lot of equipment to put out an oil well fire, equipment Marines ready for battle would not have.

DEBKA strikes again. I'd lost to see DEBKA sourced articles banned.

DEBKA? Is this reliable?

No. In fact, if you want to know exactly what isn't happening, Debka is a good place to turn.
