ONLY 200 PEOPLE AND ALL WERE MOSTLY STUDENTS! They should keep them in jail just long enough that they miss their basket-weaving and women's studies classes ---so they can see the inconvenience they put on the working people when they do this, if they miss enough of their classes they might not pass them.
It's high time to put some teeth into the law. Protesters who are arrested should have to spend the night at least in jail when they get arrested for breaking the law. Not that I'm against dissent, but that it's too easy for these idiots to disrupt society in wartime. Make them at least get a little hungry, the spoiled brats.
If they want to make a statement, let them pay for it, so it's not frivolous.
