Ba-Dum-Bum! Let me put it this way...We have four cats in the house (had six at one point while boarding a couple for family members) and for some reason these creatures with near-perfect night vision and the ultimate in "catlike reflexes" can't see/hear my 6'4 215lb ass coming and GET OUT OF MY WAY!
Plus, Friday's cat in the Robert heinlein novel was called Mr. Underfoot. I don't think he was French, though...
