I am not into personal attacks...however..
"Short People"...Randy Newman....his lyrics to this song stand so true about Dashile...Gotta love it.
(All respect to anyone that has ever been called "short". I think the song should be remade and redone & called "Duhhhh...people").

We tried to give Saddam exactly two options:
- Disarm
- Be forcibly removed from power
France tried to give it a third option:
- Make some feel-good gestures without disarming, and have France block any U.N. action against Iraq
Option #3 is, of course, not acceptable to the U.S. or many other countries. The only way to stop it, however, is for the U.S. to go in without the U.N.

"Daschle's words can only be explained as the product of a kind of hatred, unbuttressed by any serious intellectual argument, likely to hurt the party of the speaker far more than the party of the president they were directed against." WHOA.....reality hits in this last sentence!

Great column. Thanks for posting this. George W. Bush has shown integrity, resolve, and cool-headedness. Even many Democrats respect this in a leader; witness the public opinion polls. (South Dakota, please recall your idiot Senator.)

>>>"No Democratic campaign consultant ... would have advised Daschle to make the comment that he did"<<<
And ... do we know who advised Daschle to make that statement - her name is Hitlery!!!
>>>"Daschle's words can only be explained as the product of a kind of hatred, unbuttressed by any serious intellectual argument"<<<
The explanation: Hitlery's hatred of George W. Bush
