I heard this morning that gubernatorial candidate Lunsford (rich Democrat from Louisville self-financing his campaign) and his running mate Barbara Edelman (Lexington lawyer) were on Dave Baker's radio show in Lexington on WLAP. When asked if they agreed with the Democrats' criticisms of President Bush, Barbara Edelman allegedly said that she questioned President Bush's motives, saying that we are going to war not for the stated reasons of disarming Iraq, but for "ulterior motives" held by President Bush.
Baker apparently had to ask people to stop calling and emailing to complain, due to an overflo of outrage. Did anyone hear the actual quote she used?
More to the point, is this the kind of person we want to have a heartbeat away from the Governor's mansion? I had to wonder if this was Barbara Edelman, running for office in Kentucky, of Barbara Streisand, running for city council in Berkeley, California. Can you believe this?
Barbara Edelman allegedly said that she questioned President Bush's motives, saying that we are going to war not for the stated reasons of disarming Iraq, but for "ulterior motives" held by President Bush. I'm curious.
Did she specify which "ulterior motives" bothered her?
She probably meant that George W. will take Iraq's oil and give it to Dick Cheney's former company.....LOL
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
from her site : In 1995, she was selected as one of The Best Lawyers in America in commercial litigation and in 1996 she was named by The Lane Report as one of the Top Women in Business in Central Kentucky. Barbara is past President of both the U.K. College of Law Alumni Association and the Fayette County Womens Bar Association.
Ouch, another Hilary clone
