The Idiocy Has Started

Anti-war protestors are holding a protest at the Federal Building in Westwood, and have shut down Wilshire Boulevard, blocking access to the 405. The hilarious thing about this is that they've chosen about the most anti-war area in the country for this protest, so they're mostly inconveniencing their own.

Dont these idiots have jobs????

My local corps of useful idiots was considerate enough to wait until well after dark to gather. When "People For Peace" showed up for their meeting, I was there to greet them with my "WELCOME TERRORIST FAN CLUB" sign.

They were not pleased.

Sorry I wasnt able to attend this past Sunday, I would have loved to!!!! (I was out of the City all day)

I took a walk on Saturday to Virgin Records at Union Square, I had forgotten that there was a protest going on. I soon found myself in a alternate reality...what a FREAK-FEST! I wish I had a camera...one woman had a sign that said "Draft the Bush Twins" I asked her if she realized there was no draft anymore. She gave me a dirty look and said something rude. It seemed you were not allowed to protest if you didnt fit into one the following catagories: 1. Aging hipppy academics, desperately longing for the 60’s…
2. Ignorant NYU/college students, with tri-colored hair and the more body/facial piercing the better. (saw quite a few who looked totally high, fwiw)
3. Typical East Village artsy types.
4. Militant lesbian/feminazi’s looking for ANY excuse to rant
5. Limousine liberal couple with J.Crew wardrobe and baby-in-a-backpack holding the mandatory “no blood for oil’ signs.

Just my observations.
