Having lived through it I recall the events quite well. I didn't need a history lesson. However, I suppose it might be informative to others.
Because of the intense activity of the left at present, especially in a time of active war, I just wondered about the purpose of posting something so distorted and flattering to a leading Communist historic figure. Others less informed may view this a an accurate portrait. Still others, in light of our failed education system and indifference to current events, may not notice this was a 1953 article. I simply asked the purpose for the post but at least it gave you an opportunity to be snide.
