I offer this worthy meditation (IMHO) on the occasion of the imminent hostilities in Iraq. Please offer your prayers for the just resolution of this war in the shortest time possible, and for the saving of as many lives as possible -- those of the coalition forces, and of the long-suffering Iraqi people as well. Was there an actual man named Plato. I am starting to think there was not. All that "son of a wealthy Athenian family" story may have been made up to add personality to a concept. The writings of Plato were most likely master's theses by acolytes of The Way, a tradition continued in the NT.
