I think cheating is pretty much gender neutral. Agreed. I think this article is more about current statistics than who does what more. After all, you have to find someone to cheat with.

Yep...it's hard to cheat by yourself.
I know many otherwise normal women who have had affairs with married men. Of course they all thought he was a victim of the "shrew" and that he truly loved them and would leave his wife....maybe 5% did.
It's amazing how many single women who seem rather decent otherwise will engage in an affair with a married man.
Men...the obvious horndogs we are...seem more inclined to fool around with married women if the man is a bit on the young side and lonely and thinks the woman is a victim....he rationalizes he's rescuing her.
FWIW observations...
