I wonder if the Canadian's last words were "But I'm a Canadian?" Terrorists don't make the distinction no matter how much Chetrien tries to distance himself from the US.

Wouldn't even matter if he'd said "But I am a French Canadian."

Was this a French Canadian?

I wonder if the Canadian's last words were "But I'm a Canadian?" Terrorists don't make the distinction no matter how much Chetrien tries to distance himself from the US EXACTLY. The sooner our naive government and citizens realise this, the better. It's going to take an incident on Canadian soil to wake some of my sleepier countrymen out of their slumber. In a way, if that Ressam guy had followed through on the bombing of that Jewish area of Montreal, it might have woken a lot of people up. As much as I don't want something like that happening, I'm afraid that's what it's going to take.

A lot of Canadians travel with the Canada flag patch on everything. The most I've seen at once is 4 at once-- hat, shirt, backpack, pants.

What is it with these people. They think they are going to fly airplanes into the WTC and then what...
These people must be way down the gene-pool, but then they are everywhere.

But its all the Americans fault. Don't you get it?
To: dfwgator
What Cretien will likely say is that the Canadian death was a result of the American decision to invade Iraq. He will put the blkame on the U.S. and not on the terrorist scum bag.

Yep completely. The American died because he was American. And the Canadian died because he was with the American that had the audacity to be... American. < /sarcasm>

Fox news just said something about this case. They mentioned that the latest speculation is htat it might be job realted because of people saying bad thing about him to the boss. Apparently they all worked for the same company and the gunman has yet to be found to have radical Islamic leanings. Also, in cases like this, the gunman usually tries to flee to shoot again another day if he were a radical. This guy shot himself right after shooting the others.

True, it could be something different than the regular islamic nutjob. But it's knee jerk reaction to assume that Americans get blamed for everything anyway, I mean that seems to be how it works with anyone who doesn't want to blame anyone who might be at fault for anything physically outside of the U.S.
Also, a main theme with these Islamic whacko's seems to be suicide, so for some of us this doesn't appear to be to out of the norm. But thanks for alerting me to the fact it may actually be just a disgruntled worker. ;)

If the Islamoterrorists somehow managed to mess with NHL season, forcing the cancellation of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the process, the Canadians would then be properly pissed off ....and onboard.
